Why can’t real talent do well?

Tiffany Evan a wonderful voice and I would love to work with her any day. For some reason she just can’t seem to have a hit record. Her biggest record was Promise Ring which Ft hit singer Ciara in 2008, Promise ring didn’t even hit the top 100. Tiffany’s album only sold 200,000 copies but I don’t understand why? she can really sing! and hear she writes as well. Is it bad production? lack of time to make good hit? I don’t know but I hope things get better for young Tiffany Because Her story is truly amazing and I believe she is a great talent better than half of the talent out now!

Evans was born in Bronx, New York and is the seventh of 10 children born to Carol and Lonnie Evans. Before she achieved success, she and her family were homeless and living in their van for years. In February 2003, on her fourth Star Search appearance, Evans won the Grand Champion title in the junior singer division, becoming the only performer in “Star Search” history to receive perfect five scores on all of her appearances. In the competition, Evans competed against fellow singers Lisa Tucker and David Archuleta, both later appearing on American Idol. Evans has starred in an episode of Law and Order SVU, playing Blair Underwood’s daughter. That same year, she sang for executives at Columbia Records and was offered a recording contract deal at 10-years-old. With her musical career already on the upswing, she landed a small role on CBS’s “The District” and appeared in the 2005 film, Diary of a Mad Black Woman. -WikiPedia

From Backrub to google

Larry Page and Sergey Brin was two students who  met at Stanford and argued about everything! They had different ideas and point of view on different situations. So they thought of an idea of a search engine that host different ideas and point of views on things. They named it Backrub and it was a search engine running off a server from school. The server eventually was to small because backrub became popular. The two students then decided to make it a bigger website and they thought of the word “googol,” a mathematical term for the number represented by the numeral 1 followed by 100 zeros. The use of the term reflects their mission to organize a seemingly infinite amount of information on the web. The two received a 100,000 business investment from a good friend who immediately thought it was a great idea! Now Google is a huge success and the website started small in 98

You don’t have to prostitute yourself for CD sales!!

Cd sale are down as we know, but its not the end of all ends! We have people making huge profit off of the tip jar model, pay me what you want for my material instead of one set price. People like Martin Lindhe made 70,000 in 2000 from free downloads using the tip jar model. Martin Lindhe who is not even a mainstream artist and he is making more money then most singed to a recod lable. Martin and other who followed the tip jar method can get their music to fan and profit more money. Other artist who followed this method has came up with many solution to making a profit and distrubuting cd’s like 4lyn and Nostalgia! you might not know who they are but they are making money and selling records with out being prostitued by a major label!
